Blog 5: A photograph you like

Hi everyone, in this blog I will tell you about one on my favorite photos of the last years.

I took this photo on November 14th, 2019, after 27 days of starting Social Upheaval in Chile.

In our faculty, during those months, we made a work group of interventions and on november this intervention was created, in commemoration of one year of the murder of the Young mapuche Camilo Catrillanca by state agents.

This intervention was designed for students of the faculty and other amazing people, they know about the Word of giant puppets and we learned many things. We finished the puppet in a week, it was very fun.

After finishing, I took this photo and we went through the Street Alameda, together with students of the University of Chile. Everyone had Mapuche flags.

The phrase on his chest say in mapudungún “Tami püllü mongeley taiñ weichan mew” this means “Your spirit live in our dispute”.

I chose this photo because creating with hands and in community is a beautiful memory.

Thanks you for read, I hope you have a good weekend!
