Blog 4: A meal of food you really like

 

Hi everyone, in the fourth blog I will tell about my favorite food.

I like to very much the food homemade, so my favorite food is the legumes, especially the beans, yes, the beans in all forms, white bean, black bean, “tortola” beans, “rallado” beans and grained bean, everything hahaha. 😋

And in preparation as Beans with riendas (noodles), Grained beans with mazamorra (corn) and Black beans stew. Also I like to add pumpkin sweet potato. A Delicious combination.🍲

When I became vegetarian, I cared more about my diet, so I started adding the legumes more often, because there are a good source of protein. Every day i liked more, because I know that these make me feel good. So two days a week I have a plate of beans in my lunch.

The legumes are a good souce of iron for our body, always eat your legumes with vitamin C, for example with raw vegetables, because step up the iron absorption. The iron transports oxygen to our body and thus have a proper development, you will feel more energetic, I love it.
